Thank you, I can't say I remember who you are, but I do appreciate the warm welcome! I've been gone so long I only remember a few people.

So! The good news is that nowadays even if I still had the same self-control issues I did in my hayday, I seem to be only able to make 10 or so posts before the forum just won't let me make more!

Helps the place is also a lot more quiet than it was during my original stay here, which might have been even further back than I thought! I really am impressed so many people remember me. :0

Wow yeah, just checked the last thread my old account posted in, it was 2015.

It's been almost 9-10 years, a bit longer than the seven year sabbatical I hinged my OP on. Little wonder people might have thought I was a slightly newer trouble maker. Haha, my bad there!

I think I ban-evaded like three times, each to make a point. I'd be VERY surprised if I was allowed back in. My first time back was to cut-down the unseemly rumors of plagiarism one of the people there was trying to spread.

The second was me inquiring about a very comical wiki edit someone did to try and get my goat, but that turned out to be unrelated to RMN, which I suspected, but figured I would check anyway. Also it might have proved amusing for some of the members and I am mostly all about entertaining people.

The third was a weird crashout I had about the invoker of the first instance.

None of them were remotely justified, and I began treating the RMN discord as largely a different entity from the forum, which I think many do.

Also LockeZ nor Corfaisus are there anymore which to be honest was half the draw.

There's something melancholic/nostalgic about forums and how old members come and go and everyone but you knows them. Really gives you an idea of how large a community is/was.

Haha, I remember your name but i don't think we ever really beefed. You seem chill and I'm here to vibe and enjoy the nostalgia. My old Bizarre Monkey account had a lot more makerscore but I basically forced the admins to ban that account as the place was too addictive and back then i had next to no self-control and as a result i wasn't getting any game-dev done.

But in the time between then and now I have had a whole big story arc and changed from a dumb animal cartoon to a dumb anime cartoon instead! yes, that is different somehow!

Though mostly, the hellsite which was once called twitter taught me that self-control might be a good thing to learn, so i've got a lot more ability to just turn off the social media completely now.

This site is also far less crazy busy as it was back then, much more manageable. Though its resurgence is definitely making it feel a lot more like it used to, and it's nice its not stuttering at the speed of snail as it was shortly before its fall.

I've mostly been taking it easy, playing some bad korean MMOs (this is my way of coining world of warcraft private servers despite most of them being hosted by europeans), got into megabonk and play it to death and am eagerly anticipating the Ultrakill fraud layer update and Ananta.

I've also been playing a bunch of Elden Ring, and am slowly turning, nay morphing, into something akin to a gamer.

But don't get the wrong idea, I'm still very bad! Even at my own games I get doubled in score by people who have never played or only lightly touched the genre before!
