FALLEN-GRIEVER'S REVIEW THREAD

Still playing Forever's End. I'm very impressed with the improvements made since the last iteration of the game I played. Can't really say too much bad about it so far, except that the motivation of a certain female lead still sits uncomfortably with me.
Yeah, there are definitely some character fixes I didn't get around to. I tried to make Elise's motivations more believable, but it looks like I still have some work to do on that. Glad to hear you're enjoying it, though.
You rock, F-G! I'm glad to hear you've gotten so much enjoyment out of this demo. I'm also really happy to hear that you like the monster capture system, as that was a bitch to fully implement into the game. Sorry about the occasional strange tintings in battle. Because I used battle animations rather than the simple standard BattleChar graphics for a majority of the character actions, I have to make a different battle tint for every single animation. In other words, if I use a slightly different shade of dark in battle, I have to make a whole new set of battle animations, which kinda takes a while. I thought I got most of these areas, but I obviously missed of few spots. If you don't mind, could you send me a PM where exactly you ran into these tint problems (if you can remember)?
Thanks again for the beautifully written and informative review. And as you so eloquently put it,

A lot of the issues were mentioned by more than one person and how much this game has improved as a result just shows that more reviews are desperately needed in this community - they really do help developers get better!
I like when games are improved and the creators pay attention to the flaws brought up by people. I'm looking forward to the full release of Forever's End!
Fallen-Griever, thank you for your review of Wanderer. Along with Solitayre's, by cross-referencing them, it will really let me work on what I didn't initially realize were problem areas, like the battles.
Hey F-G, just wondering if you had any time/openings for a new game to review? If so, would you mind terribly taking a crack at my game? I'd like to have some more input, to better tweak and balance the contents of chapter 1 while I work on chapter 2.

I'd greatly appreciate it! If not, no biggie, but it would really help me out.

If it's not too much, would you mind playing my game LINUS when you have some time? It's a pretty short demo (primarily focused on storyline and atmosphere), so it probably won't take you more than a half hour to finish.
Thanks.
Thanks.
It is a shame that this is my main project then and that talented people have already contributed resources to it. If only I'd chose something else to focus on.
Anyway I just gotta hope most people don't feel the same way that you do. I've put a goodly amount of eggs in the To Arms! basket.

I don't get why people think SnE is overly difficult.
People inwardly want to mash attack and consume 99 potions. When a game is fair, it scares them.
