You mean.. JKB?

Just so you guys know, he gave up RPG Maker. He's now working on a Mega Man X fangame in Flash which plays pretty much just like the SNES ones. It's shaping up to be pretty awesome looking!

No JPC was that guy who made the most beautiful maps ever. If he wasn't using RM2K/3 at the time, it would have looked even better than it did. The style was certainly unique.

JKB though, I forgot about him. I've seen his Megaman flash videos online and I really wish he dropped in from time to time. His stuff certainly looks awesome. I still wish he would release his old game.
A dream team for me would be Max Magee for Events he does such a good job with mage duel, and everything turns gray. Also Night'Walker to work on the Graphics. His Autotiles are amazing.

I always wanted to play that game of his.. Forgot what it was called. But it had some killer features in it. Got those Youtube videos of it.
Hmmm....

I'm really new to this site/community, so I can't really say WHO I'd want to work with, if I was going to do a joint project. But I can say what I'd want in a partner(s). It would be assume to pair up with someone really good at scripting/coding, a music composer, and perhaps a real first-rate Level Designer as well. I'd want to concentrate on the writing/events, personally.

I dunno, I've never given thought to doing a joint project in RPG Maker before. It might be a whole lot of fun! ^_^

No it isn't.
I wouldn't call it difficult, but it can be challenging and time consuming balancing 'real' life, a job, responsibilities, social life, love life, and other hobbies with effectively making a game in decent time.

Yeah. I can't imagine anyone's significant other (or spouse for that matter) wanting to take a back seat every night to RPG Maker. o_o;

I wasn't clear, but that's exactly what I meant. Thank you/

I never got it :o
I was working on my game alone, so It may not have been
the best game out there. My friend is now currently working
on mazes and dungeons for my game, while I work alone on the
story and gameplay. It would be nice to have someone experienced
to help me with the games, but I'm not complaining.

Yeah it can be difficult to work around things to work on a game. I think as long as you inform the team members you have no deadlines for things, and they take interest in it. You shouldn't have any problems. Just be sure to get updates on them when you can or they'll vanish. I've seen it happen a lot to other people.

Nah it's not that hard. Just takes blood and sweat. But you can get a good game working alone..(Thinks of old Legend of Kusho Usumi. I miss that game :'()

It took me from 2001 to 2007 (working on and off again) to complete Lost Legacy. That is counting transferring it from 2000 to 2003, Hurricane Katrina, and losing half the game data, but overall, it was just very time consuming to do a full game by myself.

So it is difficult, in that it is a strain on yourself, not as in the task was difficult.
Hmm...

Music: Maladorithm, Chris Hurn, Chef
Original Graphics: Ocean, Skie Fortress and Inquisitor, Perihleon is good too.
Writing: No idea. Strangeluv or Jihaus maybe
Game Design/Systems: Hima for danmaku ish systems and TDS to help me proof it
Map Design: Meiscool or Blindmind if they can do sideview maps heh. Malad for lighting and atmosphere or YDS or AZN
Programming: WIP is awesome <_< >_> but I prefer hima, Anaryu, anonL or TDS
Testing: Ciel, Ocean, Azn
Special Effects: Mascaporne is good but hell with it. I'll take Skie anyday.
From this community, I'll personally pick up demondestiny, shinan and ankylo, cause those are the only ones I have talked to for the most part in here. I'm not much aware of their real skill when it comes to game making, only have played demondestiny, so I'm more familiar with him haha, but I prefer to work with cool people i can relate to, the development comes afterwards, as there is always a way to work things out in that area.

Pah, I cranked out three complete while also juggling high school and college, and now I am known as the guy who can't even get a job, so obviously it ain't that hard. (Or conversely, getting a job is now way harder than I thought.)

Map Design: I am okay at this, but LittleWingGuy or Blindmind otherwise.

Oh yay, mentioned! But I hope one day I'm taken more seriously than just a mapping guy. But still, yay!
