THE MOST HARDCORE BOSS MUSIC
Posts
When you've spent hours making your way to the final boss, or to any boss, nothing makes it quite so epic until you're being blasted away by the music.
So what's your favorite boss music?
Mine are,
Gilgamesh Theme:http://youtube.com/watch?v=6UtCSC9_JDQ
FFXII Boss battle theme:http://youtube.com/watch?v=FuXMiwtKlik
Legend of Zelda Ganon theme:http://youtube.com/watch?v=Pk85sVps0Ow&feature=related

Battle With Magus. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yhnBUd6R31k

The Battle for Everybody's Souls. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yz1yrVcpWjA
Someday and The One Star from The World Ends With You are used for regular battles, but each battle theme in the game also has its own respective boss fight and these songs are for the most memorable ones.

They aren't much for regular listening but when you're fighting giant demonic kangaroos while fending off an enormous teleporting black lion with heaven-sent laser beams at the same time or dodging dozens of different fireballs while dodging counterattacks on the top screen at the same time it's pretty good stuff.
Also, special mystery bonus track!

Read 'em and weep.
Valkyrie Profile - Confidence in Domination
Rudra - The Spirit Chaser (And every other boss song in the game.)
Secret of Mana - Danger
Secret of Mana - Meridian Dance
Romancing Saga 3 - Boss (And every other boss song from the game)
PS: If more composers studied counterpoint they would be able to write music as rad as Kenji Ito's.
Symphony of the Night - Festival of Servants
This is so good that I am willing to sacrifice some of the ~cool points~ I got for mentioning more obscure stuff like Rudra or Romasaga.

But you forgot the Lufia 2 - Boss Battle
Oh yeah I have that Battle With Magus remix theme from the composer that was working on Chrono Trigger Resurrection. It is insane.
Roar of the Departed Souls.
Final Boss theme from Lost Odyssey. One of the BEST boss themes I've heard in a very long time.

- J-E-N-O-V-A (FFVII)
- Keep On Fighting (FFVII boss music)
YES! those were two awesome songs from VII.
This Boss Battle music is so hardcore it features some real "down with the kids" lyrics.

Chrono Trigger - Time of World Revolution

"Laser beams / Doors of doom open."
The only thing I love more than the final battles in actually making them, these tracks always make me excited by thinking about what I'm going to be making down the road.
____
Xenosaga 3: Also Sprach Zarathustra - Godsibb
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ya9lECn4UGg
... I've never actually played this game
... Yeah, so that's it!
____
Chrono Cross - Prisoners of Fate
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R1Y9d4N7n9M
There's nothing in this world as ruthless or impartial as death.
People gave Chrono Cross a lot of crap because it didn't stay true to the original; but there is one things even the detractors cannot deny about the game, the sound track was amazing. This music just exudes... something, despair; inevitability perhaps?
____
Panzer Dragoon Saga Giant Being One

A little known RPG that only came out on the Sega Saturn (during it's final years). A rare game that fetches over 100 dollars on ebay; I luckily managed to get one of the few early copies made for my birthday many years ago.
The game continues the tradition of having brilliant music.
The same can be said about the below.
Panzer Dragoon Saga / II Zwei Guardian Dragon

Panzer Dragoon Saga Atolm Dragon

Stunning.
There are other parts than the one I just linked. All of them are amazing.
