FINAL FANTASY XII

Can someone please tell me what happens at the very end of Final Fantasy 12. I am dying to know. I have heard that it was a really poor ending. Is this true. ???

Usually it's a divide between Love X Loathe XII or Loathe X Love XII (Usually)
I love X and I love XII :(
Hence the qualifier 'Usually'.
It basically walks straight into RW so if you know who the characters are you should just be able to pick up RW and you'll get your answer.

Trust me, it was very poor. Just like most of the latest Final Fantasies they are all shit endings. Why is it that so many games can not cap off a great ending. But maybe it's just me.

Final Fantasy X's ending was soooo brilliant. I never finished XII, because once I finally hit the last dungeon, I realized that my game clock was as high as I was going to let it go (110 hours?!), so I don't know how that ends. But I loved the end of X!
Mr. Abley is a flip-flopper. He has previously stated that he quit FFXII at the last dungeon when he thought the FFXII international version would have english subtitles. He was SALIVATING at the chance to play it again. But when he found out the internation version didn't have subtitles, he cried. And hit his girlfriend.
Which is it, Mr. Abley? You loved FFXII so much that you were wanting to spend another 110 hours on the international version? Or that your nerd-limit was in effect and you didn't want to spend a second over 110 hours on it? Huh? HUH?

I don't really care how long i spend playing a game. As long as i finish it i'm happy. For Final Fantasy 12 i think i was about 140 hours.

Well, I never went *back* for end-game content and to finish the final dungeon because of the International version. I took a break in the first place because I felt like 110 hours was just too long to be playing the same game. I know some of you guys are homeschooled kids that play video games all day or stay-at-home dads or unemployed or whatever, but I'm too interested in too many games and have too little time to be racking up hundreds of hours on every game.
And yeah I'm really bummed about the International version because FFXII's mechanics felt half-finished and the International version's featureset made it sound so much better-realized.
Final Fantasy 12, to me, was just horrible.
This is comparitivly speaking, of course, to Final Fantasy 7, 8 and 9. Those three were just heaven.

Thank you for proving my point. In retrospect though I should've included 7-10 in my initial statement.
Not that I hate Cloud. I just don't really care for someone who's more psychotic than I am. That and the fact that he really needs to give up these quick fix solutions and check into a psychiatric ward or at least he shouldn't forget his meds all the time (among other things).
Those guys at Squaresoft must have been suffering from their own chronic memory dysfunction to have forgotten that they had made more than half of their main protagonists in all their games between Super Mario RPG and FFX as forgetful as they probably were.
I love Final Fantasy XII. From the graphics and gameplay to the story and characters: Everything. It gets especially good after reaching the end of Giruvegan (though that it very far into the game). Some may not like it, but I certainly do. All I have left to do now is go to the second last dungeon. Woot. I can maybe do some hunts and such after I get all of that done.

Especially with "cloud". He has got to be my favourite Final Fantasy character.

Don't worry. Even though i love cloud i am not a psychotic, chronic memory dysfunction man. It was really the only thing wrong with him. Really don't understand why they made him to act like that.
I bought FFXII about a month ago for twenty bucks and it has sat on my shelf collecting dust since then :o.
I would go play it but Metroid Prime 3 and Virtual Console games are still lots of fun...
EDIT: To be more on topic, I DID finish FFX and I really enjoyed it. The game didn't really have a thick plot in comparison to other RPGs, but I was still very interested in the story because of the characters and the relationships between them. It was a very 'lite, surface-level' story, sure, but still pretty nice. And besides that, I really enjoyed the Sphere Grid and the battle system, and those are perfectly valid reasons for enjoying a game :).
