From what I've seen, the interface is friendly to RM2k3 users and RMXP users. I'm more familiar with XP, but I have toyed with 2k3, and can see similarities from there too.
I think that's one thing about VX I like.

Lolz I come back here and find out enterbrain made a new maker, awesome.
I tried out the demo thing, and have to say its a lot more like rm2k/3 with XP graphics to it. I might actually switch to it even though I hate XP.
