I really hope FF6 won't be on DS. It should either be left alone forever or remade for like, PS3 or something. :'(

I heard that the original creator of Final Fantasy (when he was still with the team) intended to release Final Fantasy 7-9 on the PS2 with updated graphics and such. But since he left...well, yeah. =\
I'd also love a FF 6 remake on the PS3 or soemthing. It deserves it...!!! I mean c'mon, it's basically the backbone for the most popular FF (7)! You can make ALOT of comparisons between the two, and...gah! 6 just DESERVES IT, damn you!!!

Well I never had a chance to play FF6 back when it was released so if it's released on the DS then I'm more than happy to get it.

Wait, wasn't it just released, like 2 years ago on the GBA? The DS can play that.
And it's not Squenix doing them anyway, so it's not like it's taking time away that they could be working on other projects.

The problem is the price. It's still what it was when it first came out and believe it or not, the DS versions are always cheaper. Anyway, I like these remakes.
I was all about FFIV DS till I totally messed up on getting dualcast. I had to quit playing last week after getting persona 4.

I thought it was a pretty good game. I played the original before this on the GBA, and liked the new version. The new cutscenes at the end annoyed me though, messing with the story like that :P.
I'm most frustrated with the fact that, if you want to play the two new optional bosses, you pretty much have to play the same game 2-3 times to collect all the special augments you'll need. But I appreciate the fact that the creators focused on a good core game, rather than creating a "bonus dungeon" or anything lame like that. (although I did have a great time killing the Time Devourer!)
