I suppose it's odd to begin with, since I grew up with a SEGA GENESIS and didn't enjoy SNES until later on... but these are my top 10.
(1-fav/10-least fav)
1. Super Metroid
2. Kirby Super Star
3. R-Type III: The Third Lightning
4. Chrono Trigger
5. F-Zero
6. Mega Man X3
7. Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest
8. Final Fantasy III
9. Killer Instinct
10. Kirby's Dream Course
(1-fav/10-least fav)
1. Super Metroid
2. Kirby Super Star
3. R-Type III: The Third Lightning
4. Chrono Trigger
5. F-Zero
6. Mega Man X3
7. Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest
8. Final Fantasy III
9. Killer Instinct
10. Kirby's Dream Course
1. Chrono Trigger: The RPG I replayed the most. With the exception of the gameboy Final Fantasy Adventure, only because it was portable and CT wasn't. The main flaw with this game for me was the Prehistoric era, I hate that era. Otherwise, one of the best RPGs. I would save just before the Black Tyrano or Son of Sun battles just because I loved the boss 2 battle musics so much.
2. Seiken Densetsu 3: The best in the mana series. The main flaw with this game for me is the huge intros, it makes me not want to replay them as much because they take so long. Otherwise, I think I'd based nearly everything I do on it, like graphical style, composing style, mapping style, and so on.
3. Final Fantasy V: Class change systems are awesome. It may not have had the most amazing story, graphics or whatever, but it was fun to make a class with the Conjure, Slash, and X-Fight abilities, and just mix and match abilities. Terrain was a fun one.
4. Bahamut Lagoon: I hate tactical RPGs, this is the only tactical RPG I've actually liked. Switching around parties, boosting up dragons power, modifying the terrain, the graphics, and music were awesome.
5. Secret of Mana: Not as great as SD3 (Especially if you level up your weapons/spells), but a good game still.
I actually didn't enjoy FFVI as much as most people did, but it's still good to learn from. Final Fantasy IV on the other hand is getting no where near this list, I hate FFIV. Mario Kart, Mario World, and Kirby could go on this list, but I would rather do a top 5 rather than a top 8.

Hrm... well... I won't claim to have played nearly as many SNES games as others, so forgive me if my list is a little dorky, haha ;D.
In no particular order..
- Chrono Trigger
- Final Fantasy 2
- Final Fantasy 3
- Contra III: The Alien Wars
- Earthbound
- Super Mario RPG
- Super Metroid
- Actraiser- Just played on the Wii and really enjoyed it, actually!
I couldn't really pick out any more. Maybe one of the Donkey Kong Country games or the Megaman X games. I haven't played very many of what are considered the classic SNES RPGs, so I can't really recommend games like Terranigma or Lufia II even though I always hear positive things about them!

harmonic, forget about all the fire emblems, just play part 7 for the gba. It will make you skip your classwork... its the reason why i like fire emblem games, you'll know once you get your hands on it, from the beginning to the last part.

I've played every installation of fire emblem from 1 through 8. 4 and 5 still reign supreme!

Ive played 4, dont like the ones for snes, although im gonna try to see if i can find 5 somewhere to see how it is. I like more part 7 since you are the tactician, and then the story of lyndis is really good. How you start in the game, then after you beat it you still get to play another side of the story. Music is good, and the story doesnt involve beasts and monsters like in part 8 which i hate.
The music in Breath of fire games i have always enjoyed as they always fit well into the storyline. It is really the only game besides the Final Fantasy series that i have really enjoyed the music.
How can your forget EARTHWORM JIM?! When I was about 8 I used to play it. Lol, it was the demo and only had stage 1. It was really fun though. Hasn't anyone played Earthworm Jim?
