WOULD ANY OF YOU BE INTERESTED IN JOINING UP A NEW PROJECT?

THE BASICS
I've been toying with the idea of making a game based on the 4th edition of Dungeons & Dragons since it's release last year. Those of you that have played it certainly know how well it lends itself to a video game conversion. It isn't my goal to turn this into a demanding project...I want it to, first and foremost, be a way to hone our individual skills and have fun. I'm not going to be slave-driving you or giving you scary dead-lines. ;D
Over the last few weeks, I've spent some time typing up a large document of where I want this project to go and what all needs to be done, and it's going to be too much for me to do alone. This board has always been friendly and helpful when I had questions, so this was the first place I thought of to find potential team members.
A knowledge of Dungeons & Dragons is definitely not necessary. In game form, it's largely a tactics game much in the vein of Fire Emblem or Final Fantasy: Tactics. The system is, essentially, balanced and well put together, which is why I'm using it. However, should our project take off, I have no qualms about taking the groundwork and creating a completely independent project with it...in fact, I would say that's a pretty good goal. I'm planning on using RPG Maker VX, but if there's a wide preference elsewhere, I don't have a problem switching.
The basic positions are as follows:
PROGRAMMERS
You know the drill. You'll be putting together...well, everything. The big ones are going to be character creation, which gets pretty complicated in the D&D world, and the tactical battles. I know there's some TBSes already out there, so if you'd to simply alter those, that's fine...or, of course, if you'd prefer to make a system from scratch, that's always acceptable as well.
ARTISTS
Menu designs, sprites, battle animations, tilesets. Just like with the programmers, if you can find resources that fit, that's fine, but I'm sure a lot of the creatures and such will need to be made from scratch.
SOUND ENGINEERS
Music, battle sounds, trap sounds, door sounds...everything we hear, it's all in your court. Once again, finding resources online is fine, making stuff yourself is fine.
IN CLOSING...
I want this project to be laid back and fun for everyone involved. If it sounds like something you're interested in, there's multiple ways to contact me:
A: Post a message here (also feel free to ask any questions)
B: Email me at Phaenox@gmail.com
C: AIM me at IGotUpAndLeft (I tend to ghost frequently, so just send a message and see if I respond)

This just isn't a strong enough topic. This is an extremely complex project, and we need to know if you have the skills to make it.
Do you have any previous games or project work to your credit? If so, post it. If you don't you will have a very hard time hiring anyone due to the huge degree of work required.
Also, what will you be doing?

I understand that it's a massive project, but, as I said, it's nothing that I plan on anyone taking super-seriously in the beginning. If we begin work on it and it's coming along smooth then I would assume we'd begin to ramp up the devotion to the project, but as it is, it's just something I thought would be fun to toy with.
I'm actually fairly new to RPG Maker itself, but I have college level programming education in Visual Basic and C++. I haven't toyed much with the scripting in RPG Maker VX, but, from what I hear, it's fairly easy to pick up.
I've also taken some classes in graphic arts, but my level of skill in spriting itself is fairly lacking.
As for music, I've produced several tracks and own professional-level recording products (namely, FL Studio 8). I'm also currently sitting at 19th place out of 734 entries in the Still Alive Remix Competition sponsored by EA Games (top 25 advance to the next round).
Because I do have at least some experience in each field, I'm hoping to be able to assist where needed and help with the flow of the project in general. I've got, as I said, pages upon pages of "blueprints" for the project, so I'm hoping I'll be here to provide general direction and mediate between the groups as well.
If this pays money, I guarantee that I can put together a KICK ASS character creation system for you. (Look at Everything Turns Gray or Mage Duel or any of the dozen or so other games I"ve released for my credentials.)
I'm also a pretty experienced D&D DM.
If this doesn't pay real cash money, (to be clear, I don't expect it to) I'm afraid I can't become involved. I'm an unemployed writer and I need to severely limit the amount of time I spend working on things that won't earn me money, and lately I haven't even been working on my own games.

As of now, there's no money in it...of course, should this project really take off, it'd be nice to use the groundwork for an original tactics game that could potentially be sold, but that's way off in the future.
I do understand where you're coming from, though.

Well if you need help with the story, I can always lend a helping hand.
