HOW MUCH TIME DO YOU SPEND ON THE COMPUTER?
Posts
Way too fucking much. I spend almost all of my free time on this godforsaken machine, and I have pleeeenty of that.

It's surprising how much nothing I can do on the computer and still end up going to bed like after 3:00 am.
You'd think that I was doing something constructive every night, but nope, nothing at all.
Holy shit. I think I have a split personality disorder, and I am both Myersguy and Rasta. This is exactly me!
Would you call it way to much if I spend my time on it instead of getting sleep at all during the night, then when I find myself half asleep sometime during the day I suddenly realize that I'm pressing the upper right corner of a piece of paper trying to close out of it?

Way too much. My job demands it, and my hobbies do, too.
Yeah, but you still have a social life and you're fit AND you work two jobs. I'd say you spend your time wisely!

So how much time do you spend on the bright shiny box?
8 hours a day at work. 4 hours a day, on average, at home, on the weekdays. 2 hours a day on the weekend.
So 64 hours per week on average. That's a lot. No wonder I have bad eyesight and bad carpals.
Most of the evening on weekdays, a bit more on weekends if I have nothing to do (and even then, never in the morning).
If I do CompSci at Uni I'll expect to use computers a lot more.

All the time.
yes, i am another dusk 'til dwan'er. my computer is on every waking minute and i spend most of my time at home studying.
i go out once in a while, but otherwise the only time i am away from the computer is when i'm painting. even then, i have my computer on to listen to music.
i think most people on forums spend a considerable time on the internet. maybe to beef up this topic we could discuss HOW you spend your time on the internet??

There's a life outside the computernetz?
Huh.
Seriously though, most of my time on the computer is checking forums/fics/pics/friends/other stuff I can't remember. The rest of the time I'm either working on RM or playing RM games (or solitaire).

When I'm at home, I will spend pretty much every waking hour on my laptop. (However, funnily enough, I am still in pretty good shape at only 72 kilograms) Most of the time, however, I don't ACTUALLY DO ANYTHING, which is strange as I always end up going to bed well past midnight.
But yeah... I pretty much just browse forums, IRCs and work on my games, and occasionally play a game too.

All the time.
Man, how can you people live with yourselves? Of course, unless you have to because of nonstop duties.
I dunno I've been in a few areas where I've had nothing to do BUT sit at a computer day after day, hour after hour and I felt like dying. It's really bad for you! Luckily, it's getting warmer out, and hopefully that'll change.

Not too much right now- I spend time to check e-mail and do homework, but I prefer playing video games on the *home consoles*, yo. I'd say maybe a couple hours a week of recreational use of the computer, although this ramps up considerably when I occasionally start playing a PC game (like when I played the Witcher a few months ago).

Hmm...well I struggle to sit on a PC for more than two hours. I use a stress ball to work on my grip if that makes you happy. :)
edit: I meant sit at a PC not on it.
