This is more of a question than a request.

I vaguely recall that somewhere in the RM2k3 database, the stats for Defense and Mind are labelled in the translation, but in-game they are applied in reverse. That is, in the DB you'd have like +10 MIND, but in the actual game, you'd end up with a +10 DEF, and vice versa.

I can never remember to what that applied to...

Is it the conditions tab for x2 and /2 attribute buffs?

You've got the same translation of Rm2k3 I've got! The answer to this is 'Yes' for conditions. To tell, select attack and tab and see what comes up next. The proper order is Attack->Defense->Mind->Agility. If it goes Attack->Mind->Defense->Agility the labels are WRONG. The tab after attack is always defense no matter what its labelled.







You know, I just realized I never fixed this in my game. Whoops! I should fix that in my RM2k3 so I don't screw myself over again. It's just a quick resource hack so it shouldn't be a problem

That was such an annoying bug, and it was only in that patched thai version. But then I found a patched version of THAT that actually named the stats what they actually represented in the database.

well, this patch looks nice, however he screwed up in the resolution issues... I thing he should do another update compatible with smaller resolutions.

Theres just one problem, and it's in the conditions tab. If you pick, eg, DOUBLE and DEFENSE, it will actually double your INT and double-INT will double your DEF instead, thats all there is to it. Everything else is fine. (I know I should have fixed it but I didn't)

@antifarea: First of all, I didn't "screw up", it was MADE for large resolutions, what part of GOLIATH do you not understand?
and secondly, theres a smaller (1024x768) version as well.

Fixed it. Took longer than expected because the resource editor I used sucks.

I switched the Intelligence/Defense labels (instead of doing it proper and switching the input fields) but in the end labels are now over the proper input field.

thats ok dude, i'm not serious, it was a question. its clearly named goliath because its for big reso's, and you came in and said i screwed it up I was like "wha?"
