I kind of relate to you guys out there digging the romantic comedies and/or chick flicks. My wife watches a ton of them, and honestly some aren't that bad. However, I would never watch any of them on my own.
I kind of dug Pride and Prejudice.
My current guilty pleasure is Eminem. He is pretty much the anti-thesis of what I would normally call acceptable music. However, I was a teenager when he first came out and thought it was pretty cool at the time. Now I know better. I would be embarassed if anyone knew he was currently in my MP3 player, but I found my old CDs and now can't help but enjoy it. His music is something akin to a trainwreck, but I also find it as an eye into a lifestyle I can never understand.
What's weird is, I have had the exact opposite arc as far as Eminem is concerned. When I was a teenager, I thought Eminem was retarded trash, but now that I'm older I actually recognize that (relative to most rappers, anyway) he's really pretty damn clever. (Yes he has lots of obnoxious "songs" but also some pretty good ones.
I find it amusing that this is the advertisment for this topic.

I listen to more JPop than I should. I don't even know what they're saying but the music is so darn catchy

I'm not even sure if it's actually JPop so instead I'm just going to say stuff like the Persona 3/4 soundtrack kind of stuff. I'm sure I've got some JPop but I'm genre retarded and I label it all under 'Music I listen to'.

Yes, he is very clever, but he hides his very precise social commentary by dropping the f-bomb every 3 seconds for no apparent reason and having the expected song about him killing his ex-wife.
I don't know much about his new stuff, but the single that is currently on the radio is awful.
