I'm going away for the weekend with my girlfriend to visit her family and spend easter up there. Got a 2 week vacation off work as well so i'm happy.

My parents are coming down Easter day, but that's about it. I don't have any plans for Spring Break.

I was going to spend easter with my gf's family. However my mom just ran off and put herself in the loony bin so I will be spending it with my dad so he does not have to be alone.
since I don't have any college work to do I'm gonna be watching football with my dad and eating some chocolate. had I followed my mother's family's religious beliefs I would've eaten my chocolate last night / today! hooray for Roman Catholicism :)

Wife and I will attend service, trade Easter presents (I'm hiding her stuff around the house this year ala Egg Hunt), and then being lazier than a pair of fat Polar Bears after drinking too much Coca Cola.

My plans are to ask what a bunny and eggs (which are not really related at all) have to do with Jesus rising.
Other than that we do the standard easter stuff for like 3 days. Egg hunts, pinatas, stuffing peeps in our faces, etc.

Working twelve hours. Now, if I wasn't scheduled to work on Sunday, I'd just be playing video games, chilling on the couch. Easter is meaningless--it's not even a federal holiday so nobody gets the day off (unless they get weekends off anyway).

Easter is meaningless--it's not even a federal holiday so nobody gets the day off (unless they get weekends off anyway).
Many private sector businesses either close on Easter or have limited hours, but you're right -- it's all a ruse. No holiday pay for employees on that day, even if it's a day they would normally be working!

On Monday an English project is due and I was dragged into working on TWO of them, because we can't have more than four members per group and six people needed my help. So I'll be editing them all tomorrow and, probably, Easter.
Having a nice dinner with my family, though, and I like video editing, so I really can't complain...
