CloseSo I have been completely void of anything RPG maker for like 4 years, maybe more. And I used to be really into it and everything and I made some games and played around with the programs and such. I had stopped a little after RM XP came out. I never released any games online or anything. This is not very important, I just felt like sharing.
Anyway, the reason I made an account on this website was to ask for some help.
I was thinking earlier about the fun I used to have playing some user made games and such so I started googling stuff about RPG maker and now I have the latest version and whatever. Well all of the sites I used to use are either gone (Sky tower games is among those) or totally changed (gaming ground zero). Well I was remembering like 3 games that I loved, but I can't find them any where. They are as follows:
The first was some kind of sim/rpg game where you played as some guy in a modern city and you could like buy an apartment or something. I remember it being really big when I had played it (big as in popular). I also remember that you could go to a movie theater or something. Which brings me to my second game. I believe that they were made by the same guy because you could watch a trailer for this second game in the first game's movie theater.
It was a standard RPG, but I remember really liking the story. I can't remember a lot about it except I think it had the word "hell" in the title. But that might not be true. I remember it used the basic rpg maker 2k battle system (it may have been made on 2k3 though, but I don't think so).
I do remember the third games name: Power Trip. I can't seem to find a download anywhere for it though.
Thanks in advanced. I would really appreciate any help, this has been bugging the heck out of me, not being able to remember these games.

Nope, sorry, I have no idea what those games could be. There's a good chance they are on this site though, it's the biggest RPG Maker game collection around, so take a look.
Hmmm, thanks for the input. I've looked around the game section here, but there are just so many that it was kind of hard. Is there a way to browse the games by game maker? Like viewing only games made in RM2K or 2K3. That might make it a bit easier.
As a side note; I downloaded Legionwood and I quite enjoy it ^_^.

Power Trip. Not completely sure about the other games though. When someone says dating sim/rpg in Rpgmaker I think Romancing Walker. But I don't remember that game so well but here it is anyway.
Thanks a lot for the link to Power Trip, Tau. And no, it definitly wasn't Romancing Walker. It wasn't really a dating sim, more like a real life sim. You lived in a city and went around and did stuff like get a job or whatever. It was a little bit light-hearted too.

And I looked through all 60 something pages of games on this site and couldn't find the games *sigh*. And all the games with "hell" in the title too. And I couldn't find any of these games.

I have a few places to look, though I checked for a game with hell in the title - no dice.

I'm afraid if you can't find the rm2k/3 games you are looking for at those places, you are probably out of luck. You can find really hard to find stuff on these sites(if you were ever curious what Xeno's Winter or Legion's Iron Gaia 2 look like), and if you can't find these games...well, they are probably lost to time, or in the hands of so few people, or maybe even just their creators, that they might as well be lost to time.
Generally speaking, if you had a good time with these games, their names might be different from what you expect. I suggest downloading games you think could be them.

WOOHOO!! I looked through the Gamingw forum post you linked and I found the "hell" game. Whops, no word "hell." It was called The Chronicles of Haledos. Now, just one more. The life sim type game. Like I said earlier, in the game you could go to a movie theater, and in that theater you could view a trailer of the game The Chronicles of Haledos, which leads me to believe that they were made by the same person. Blake Foster came up as a name for the guy that made the game, but a google search gives nothing when I look for that. Anyone have any more ideas? That was a big help, Karsuman.
