OverClocked Remix just released a new album, apparently--Final Fantasy VII: Voices of the Lifestream. It's roughly 3.5 hours of remixed Final Fantasy VII music, and it's really, really good, and probably sounds even better if you've actually played Final Fantasy VII, which I haven't but I'm sure many of you have. It's free.
OverClocked also released Chrono Symphonic a while ago, which isn't too shabby, either.

I listened to this a few weeks ago and was fairly unimpressed. OCR has a problem with thinking most songs should be remixed into electronica.
There are a few good tracks. Like, two of them. I particularly like "Golden Ivories of Gaia"; it's a pretty nice piano arrangement, though I might've chosen some more representative tracks (even though Aeris' Theme is in there). "Black Wing Metamorphosis," even though it's yet another "One-Winged Angel" remix has some nice ideas strung throughout, like the chord progression before the theme comes in the first time (the orchestra chords, not the 8-bit synth). I can't really think of anything else of merit that comes to mine...
Though, since ironically I am a fan of trance music, I like listening to that "Crazy Motorcycle" remix. :3
I am a firm believer (as well as other people) that the best thing to come out of OverClocked Remixes is "Chrono Symphonic." Seriously, that is some GOOD crack. Especially, like, say, all the tracks? I personally like "The Rising" and "Blue Skies over Guardia" myself.
