CloseFirst off let me say that I bought a Wii as soon as I could when it first came out. And at certain times it has entertained me. However I was Reading an article on Ign that said. Nintendo told gamestop to make self room for a Triple A Nintendo title.
First off WTF the last original game that nintendo came out with was mario galaxy. That was in 2007. Where were the games in 2008? Oh yea in febuary and march. That is over a year without any Triple A title releases. Not even casual Triple A titles. Now the best nintendo can come up with is a straight Wii-Make of the Original punchout? They did not even devolp it. WTF If that was not enough they delayed Wii Sports Resort until July. What the hell has nintendo been doing this whole time. If that was not bad enough the only other game that will come out in 2009 will be in the Winter?
Also the supposed Triple A title is probly Pikmin 3. I am just having a hard time wondering why I even bought a Wii. If nintendo want to cater to the casual crowd that is fine but they don't even put out any games for them.

When I read the title, I thought I would disagree with you. But it is true, Nintendo really hasn't put out any gems recently. Too bad.
I'm still all about Wii Ware and the Virtual Console though, so it's all good. Majora's Mask just came out here.

Monster Hunter Tri (looks ok although I've never played a monster hunter game before)
Arc Rise Fantasia
Maybe a new Zelda game, Galaxy 2, or just taking something out of Microsoft's book and announce a whole years worth of games at E3?

Like I said in my original post. Brawl came out in the US March 9, 2008
that is over a year ago. So maybe you got June From another hemisphere. Wii Fit is an Exersise game that came out May 9 2008 Amost a year ago. Wii Fit scored an average press rating of 8.6. LOL Dude. Animal Crossing is a DS port and if you think Wii Music is a Triple A title go kill yourself because you have horrible taste.

The Conduit: Not made by nintendo and is not a Tripple A Title.(Does not hold up to Any other Tripple A games Mainly RE5 Gears 1,2... I could go on and on.)
Punchout: Also not made by nintendo. And is a Straight Remake From NES. Come on.

Look just so everyone does not get mad at me I love nintedo as a personal matto. I hang on any and all Zelda news but if nintendo can not do any better that this. I think I may have to pass on Wii 2.

For the record, this post is confusing. You jump back and forth from Nintendo MADE games to games on a Nintendo SYSTEM. A square is a rhombus but a rhombus isn't a square. So which is it?
If you are going for Nintendo-made games, their big end of year titles last year were Wii Music and Animal Crossing, neither of which were intended for you.
BUT you are obviously not going that route because you discussed other games. In that case, you are a being a pigheaded moron by not looking anywhere except for Nintendo to satisfy your cravings.
The Conduit is unproven. You can't say it isn't triple A because it isn't out yet.
Punchout: Looks pretty awesome to me.

First off there is no need for name calling. If you read my original post I was just Ranting about nintendo's lack of support this year. I reiterate, Wii Music and Animal Crossing did not have much effort in them at all. So no matter who they were made for, they are not Tripple A titles
I do not only look to nintendo to satasfy my gaming needs. I have all 3 consoles. Nothing of worth minus maybe madworld has comeout for Wii this year. Counting Wii Ware.

I know the Wii console system hasn't had the greatest run but games are coming out that will change that. MadWorld is one of them, you call them AAA, your entire rant I think is flawed and you curse out us to improve that point. Also I did enjoy Wii Music, i thought they had an interesting concept and yes, I am a hardcore gamer and no i won't kill myself. I enjoyed it, especially with my friends. The track list not superb but it had a Nintendo feel to it. Also I am looking forward to No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle. Which I thought was one of the best Wii games out there. MadWorld is awesome. Some ports are awesome to as well. I enjoyed House of the Dead 2 and 3: The Return. Im not saying this is teh best year for the Wii but man cut it some major slack. Im sure when Nintendo was making the Wii they were thinking of the gamer crowds they had. But they also wanted to expand, I mean it's finally drawing near to a day and age, were my mom can play a game and have fun.
Y'know people are entitled to their opinions. I think The Conduit looks amazing & Dead Space has already proven to be an amazing title. When Nintendo decides to stop counting their shit ton of money they will announce something. For now just enjoy the fact you can even play a game, something not everyone gets the chance to.

Animal Crossing for the Wii only came with an entire Wii OS update that enables online voice chat. It also included a specially made microphone.

This is a tangent, but I agree with the lack of liking the 64 onward Zeldas, but the Oracle series was a thing of pure awesomeness. I wish for something evolving from those games. The Minish Cap evolved from God knows what.
Also, despite all the name calling and stupidity, the simple fact I agree with in the original post is that Nintendo hasn't put out any games that have really wowed me in the last year or longer. It's not to say Brawl isn't good, but I didn't like it, and would really like a game I like (obviously).

(The fact that no one seems to like it doesn't mean there weren't effort put into it) I don't know much about Animal Crossing but I do think it's one of the "core series" Nintendo works with nowadays. So I have no doubt they put one of their main teams on the Wii premiere for that.

I've always considered myself a 'gamer' and such. But I can never understand this triple A shit. Reminds me of those people who are absolutely devastated when their favorite game got below 9.5 by some popular review site. Really, what difference does it make? ::)
