I'm trying to play this game in fullscreen, but when I go into options, I can't get out! It's telling me to press space or enter to accept and quit, but this just toggles whatever is selected on/off.

I played this demo and it is loaded with bugs. It is unplayable.
Please tell me this isn't true.
If you seriously released your game commercially bug-ridden, ugh.
Anyways, I'll wait for WIP till I do something about this thread. Despite our rules, we've never actually had a commercial game advertised here before, so...

Non-corrupted version has been uploaded. Please re-download and re-install.
Apparently, there was a problem with the first upload. It should work fine now.
I played the demo. I am not sure if it picks up later, but it failed to get me to purchase it.
My main concerns:
1) REALLY long intro. This could've been cut down to a quarter of its size without sacrificing the quality at all. I timed it at like 40 minutes and I was moving at a brisk pace.
2) The main character is very unlikeable and I don't sympathize with her at all. It doesn't help that everyone's resentment towards her feels really forced.
3) Menu slow-down. (I'm not sure if this is universal, but it was really annoying for me)
4) Battles seemed tedious from my minimal experience with them. (The one-hour length gives very little in the actual gameplay department)
5) I encountered a message error where an NPC displayed Melrose's faceset and had a screwed up text message. While I can accept this occasionally happening in a normal RM* game, it REALLY turned me off here - very unprofessional, and unacceptable. Everything should be as perfect as possible if you expect me to pay $20 for your game.

I haven't played the demo yet because I have to borrow a computer with DSL every time I want to download something big, but...
Just wondering, is that "very unlikeable" as in anti-hero or is it "very unlikeable" as in "she's very unlikeable but we're supposed to like her anyway because she's the main character"? Or does she just lack character depth?
EDIT : I wrote "like" instead of "lack". Sorry, I'm a bit tired. :P

She's played off as being a sad, pathetic person that no one likes.
Which is fine, those kinds of characters exist, but the writer developed her like one would run a truck into a wall, with cheap soap opera-esque scenes that are hand-made to make you feel sorry for(or in my case, despise) her. I'm sure not every one will agree with me, but I think the entire intro could've been done much better.

I think the rest of your concerns are probably very legitimate, but I can't help but notice that you seem to feel this way about the characters in the vast majority of games you play.
I think you're just a misanthrope. :P
