Sounds like a good game. If he didn't want people to play it, he shouldn't have released it in the first place. Don't release something until you're 100% sure you want it out, that's a lesson to be learnt. :P
He could just be saying it so that people get curious as to what's so great about the game and end up downloading, playing and talking about it. 8)
