CloseThis bugs me to no end, but why are all of the comments I see on YouTube dumb? Most of them are totally devoid of meaning, have changing caps, or contain at least 30 lolz, omfgs, and lmfao!

Most of my youtube time consists of watching battle rap videos and they're filled with racist comments so I'm going to have to agree that this is annoying as hell.
The intelligence of comments on Youtube has a strong correlation with the type of videos you watch, to be fair.

I don't necessarily agree. Youtube comments will be awful regardless of the video you are watching. It's specifically a haven for trolls and high school drop-outs.

Also, something that annoys me is the endless streams of comments on episodes of comedy shows, where people literally just take a line from the show (a lot of the time it's a line that wasn't even incredibly funny) and follow it with HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA LEGEND ;D
Then again... I guess nobody's forcing you to read them, and I usually don't anymore, so I can't really complain.
The stupidity:intelligence ratio at Youtube is about the same as any other ridiculously popular site where a bunch of 13-year olds post.
