I would have to say as well that Winston Churchill really was a fantastic politician. I was mainly very fond of him as he knew what he was doing and showed great leadership qualities. He would have to be one of my favourite politicians of all time.
I used to read a lot of his famous quotes that he would read in press meetings and things like that. You must admit though that he had a lot of Wisdom. I feel that ted rossevelt made a huge difference in our country as well. Let's just hope that the newer breed can do the same. :)
Anarchism has a long philosophical history and to brush it off as something that 15 year olds self-identify with and nothing more is totally marginalizing and whatnot. There's been points in history where countries have had strong anarchist movements, and were fighting for something they believed in, and it's still a social movement and philosophy being developed today in universities and on the streets.

I'm leftwing. I'm not sure what else to say. Elements of anarchism, communism, socialism, participatory economics and whatever else are all nice. I really disagree with rightwing thought, but I'd prefer someone to be rightwing than apathetic, as apathy destroys the (few or many, whatever) democractic freedoms many people have died for us to have. Reading your provinces/states/prefectures/whatevers labour laws should be mandatory for workers and employers.

If anyone's rightwing and likes heavy debate, I can redownload AIM. I'd love to better explain a fairly strong left argument, and listen to a strong right wing argument.

Until I hear a more convincing argument, I'm standing by what I said!
Anarchism relies on the same sort of unrealistic view of human nature that all utopian visions do. I'm all about idealism, but you have to have some idea of how people actually act if you're going to come up with a social construct. That's why fifteen year olds identify with it. They latch onto the freedom and have no real experience with what humans are actually like, so they convince themselves that it could really work.

But in reality, the Leviathan needs a head, even if it's not a very powerful one.

But it seems that it is a very convincing argument. What isn't so convincing about it?
Yes, I'm a little confused as to what I should say about it.
