Maybe, but probably not. And there are plenty of nice, heavy window treatments available that are specifically made to block out light that are not covered in chinese symbols, so I doubt that was a deciding factor.

Probably not? Seeing as about 1 out of every 5 people in the world is Chinese (higher than any other group of people), there is the highest random chance that is he or she Chinese.

Do you guys even listen to yourselves before you type? By your own statistics that means there is an 80% chance that he is not Chinese. That is not very good odds. Next you should probably consider the fact that the vast majority of Chinese people live in... wait for it... China. Outside of Asia those odds become much, much less.
I don't even care if Ciel is Chinese or not, but this is getting ridiculous. =)

Vancouver is about 50% non-white, maybe 30% East Asian?
I've read Chinese before on menus, the internet and whatever else, and while it's substantially different from Japanese, there are enough similarities so that I can see an order in the characters. I'm at a loss for those on the curtains. Out of curiosity, can someone write them type one or two of them out so I can get a clearer look?

I'd take one of mine, but one, I'm leaving the one I have now in about two days, two, I need to rearrange and clean the one I've got at home, and three, I don't have a camera. :D
There will be one, though. Eventually.
Also, damn, almost NO ONE has any room on their desks. I like having a lot of room so I can actually put things like papers and stuff on there. That way I can work on multiple things at once. Like I could have pen and paper on the desk while working with something on the computer. Makes life a lot easier, I think.
