BLURRED TEXT

When I download games made in RPG maker 2000, the text in the games is always blurred and very hard to read. For example, I just downloaded Lys86's game called "The Frozen World" from rpgmaker.net and the letters in the dialogue bleed together. Is there something I can do to make the text more readable? Am I missing the proper font files or something?

I'm new to this website and I apologize if the answer to my question is elsewhere and I've done a bad job of looking for it.

There are font issues with RM2K that make the fonts look messed up, but I've never seen the problem described like that. Care to show us some screenshots?

I've seen the RM* fonts look all kinds of weird ways when the proper files were missing. Try downloading and installing the standard RM fonts and see if that helps. If that doesn't work, I don't know what to say. I've seen RM games that still have weird font even after the "correct" fonts have been installed.

I'm pretty sure 2k3 uses the same font as 2k, but I'm not 100% sure.

And upload the image to a place like imageshack or photobucket since you can't link to things off your computer

the fonts on rpg revolution worked! thanks for all the help. I'm really excited about these games.
