CloseI myself am into what's happening around the world, so this is a thread for people to post interesting articles you've found. This topic is also open for discussion on the articles posted. I'll get the ball rolling here.
A female college student in Chongquing, China, refused to leave her home for 10 months in order to convince her parents to pay for an unnecessary cosmetic surgery. She also refused to sit for her college entrance examination in order to stay at home further. Her parents, unfortunately, were recently laid off from work and can not afford to pay for the surgery. Her neighbors say that she is pretty and has few flaws in her face that need fixing.
