CloseCertain games i download have music in the music file but nothing while playing the game. :'( Secrets of the Light by Gemini and Sore Losers by Fallen-Griever are 2 examples. Does anyone know how to fix this, help would be much appreciated. :)
Sounds like you're muting something. Click on the audio icon next to the clock and make sure all your volumes are up and none of them are muted.

No it's not that because it only happens in a few games, and i checked and there all up and none are muted. But thanks for the quick reply.

Well I figured out my problem but don't know how to fix it. Apparentley i can't hear/play midi files inside our out of the game. How do i fix this problem.

Right Click the volume icon and set SW Synth to max

I figured it out i had to go to control panel, sounds and audio devices, audio and then change the midi default device to Microsoft GS Wavetable SW Synth. But thank yous to the people who tried to help me.

Could just be your sound card or MIDI system isn't able to process the MIDIs used in certain games. MIDI quality depends on the computer on which they are run, so sometimes they sound strange or don't play at all.
