REAL BATTLE FORMULAS?

I know I've heard around here before that the battle formulas listed in the help files are incorrect (i.e. how stats affect damage, or ATK or INT influence affect a skill). I was wondering if anyone still had the true battle calculations, or a link to them?

I assume you mean 2k/3.

TO HIT WITH A WEAPON: Uses the weapon's accuracy, modified somewhat by the AGI of the attacker and the target.

TO HIT WITH A SKILL: Only uses the skill's accuracy.

WEAPON DAMAGE: (Attacker's ATK / 2) - (Target's DEF / 4) +- 20%

SKILL DAMAGE: (Attacker's ATK * ATK Influence / 20) + (Attacker's INT * INT Influence / 40) - (Target's DEF * ATK Influence / 40) - (Target's INT * INT Influence / 80) + Base Damage +- (Variance * 5)%

CHANCE TO CRIT: Attacker's crit% + Attacker's crit% mod on weapon (if applicable)

You know, I really don't care that my posts in the help forum kill topics. It's not like I helped somebody out or anything.
Actually earlier today I was trying to remember the rediculous ATK/INT influence of skills in Rm2k3 were so I kne what values would be needed to get a real INT influence going for the Community Project. So thanks for bumping this :)

Oh wait Rm2k3 freaks out if an attack/int influence is > 10 so argh never mind

My bad; I saw it a while ago. A lot of people get annoyed when you bump the hell out of topics :/

Thanks a ton, Craze! I've actually used your posts to help me quite a few times before this, and I think you were the one who posted the original topic about battle formulas.
