E3 TOPIC!

Sony's motion control tech is good and bad. The problem with it is the setup. It requires everyone to have that camera and then two bluetooth dildos to function to the level of WM+. And there wasn't anything shown that you can't do with the WM+. Yes, you can do spatial calculation with the WM+.

And the best kicker about both Sony and MS: neither of them have a real game that uses this technology. Technology doesn't matter if it isn't applied. You'll have to wait at least until next E3 to see any games that use those tech, yet Tiger Woods Wii comes out like, this month.

This just in, Zelda will be announced for the Wii next year.

I could honestly not understand that four swords shit. I heard great things about that game but the GBA things were bull. Seems like New Super Mario Bros Wii is done right though, too bad there's no online.

Wii Vitality add-on sounds pretty stupid, but it would be pretty cool for horror games. Being able to regulate whether or not a player is tense gives some info to the developers.

Natal looks like shit, when it's released all you'll do is play shitty mini games and be able to talk to Milo. At least Wii has actual games using it's gimmick. Sony's eyetoy looks promising as the demo showed stuff you'd see in hardcore games like god of war or an actual FPS, but it's still in beta and will probably cost a lot. Wii motion plus is 20 bucks as is already coming out with Red Steel 2 on the way.

After I stepped away, Molyneux asked me what I thought. I told him the set-up was promising but that I'd want to use it more to see how well it works. Given how new the Natal project seems â€" and given how long I know Molyneux has been wanting to make a game about influencing the life of a virtual child â€" I questioned how long he and his team had intended to even integrate a camera. Molyneux said that he'd wanted to do something like Milo for a long time but that the idea hadn't really clicked with Microsoft until the Natal project came about. It was coming together.
