WAV MUSIC WON'T WORK IN-GAME.

What could be the causes of this? I've made sure that every single piece of WAV music in my library didn't work. It just plain doesn't play at all (but I can play it outside of the game. Weird.)
I just found out that I am unable to play WAVS with Windows Media player. C00D11B1 is the error code I'm getting, but I'm pretty sure my sound drivers are fully updated. I think it has to do with codecs?
Sounds like that virus you had fucked up some other parts of your operating system.
Download a music converter and try and convert your WAVs to WAVs and see if that works. Alternatively, if Winamp can play it, use the Disk Writer output plugin and anything it'll play will be converted to a WAV.

Most versions of RM2k/2k3 (if that's the type of game) use WMP for playing audio, so if WMP doesn't work, there won't be any sounds in the game.
I just found the answer: I uninstalled my K-Lite Codec Pack. Reinstalled it and it works again. Thanks anyways, guys.
