A few questions for those of you who may be running windows 7.
Does RPGmaker 2003 run well in windows 7? What about the support applications for RPG maker 2003 (such as RMRecker)?

Thats reassuring, Im considering doing a clean install of windows, and being that the RC for windows 7 is free; I thought that Id give a shot... Direct X 10 would be nice to have too.
I was really hoping that it wouldn't work and I could say USE FUCKING RMVX but 1) Nightblade makes cool games and 2) it looks like it does work. :<
Yeah works great.
This is a relief to hear.
From what I've heard, Windows 7 does a good job of being backwards-compatible. It'll be nice to sort of hover right over vista, as I haven't upgraded my windows partition from XP yet.

I haven't been up to date with the Windows stuff as I'm still a happy XP user. What has changed between Vista and W7?

I haven't had any issues running programs on Windows 7 64-bit.
Well after spending several hours getting everything in, things seem to run well.
The only problem I have with RM2k3 is slight lag in my custom battle transitions. (The black box kind of gets choppy towards the end of the transition).
Ive also been having a strange problem with my Logitech G7 in Left 4 Dead, but thats pretty much it... So far.

I had the same problems with vista using rm2k3 nightblade ;D I never bothered with it because it only happened sometimes.
