ROMANCING SAGA (AND THE SAGA SERIES!)

I finished Final Fantasy Legend 1 a while ago, but it got to be such a chore that I SAWd the last boss to death, but now that I've started playing Final Fantasy Legend II I'm really into it.

It was really hard at first to get used to the changes from the original. stats advance semi-randomly, no hp or stat up potions, mutants don't become godly powerful anymore...

But, what was changed for the better was much appreciated. Now I can choose which of my mutant abilities get removed, and the new robot class is awesome. My only gripe is that my humans aren't getting a lot of HP boosts. They're supposed to have a ton of hp. My male human is especially bad at this...

Otherwise, music is awesome, gameplay is fun - and the story seems to be at least slightly better than the original. Although, I did appreciate the original's simplicity - "There's a tower? Ahma gon' climb it!"

My best char is hands down my mutant. the rest of the gang is lucky to get a shot in before my mutant razes the entire field with flames and insta-kills everything.

Heh Robot is overpowered and awesome, if you reequip items over and over you can heal it back to full health.

I got the remake of FFLegend on my flashcard, and it's great!
It looks fantastic,and the music sounds awesome!
And a lot of text is in english, it's easy to play without japanese knowledge. :)
