For what RPG Maker?
If for XP, it is possible with Ruby Scripting.
If for rm2k/rm2k3, then I am unsure.

First off with RMXP it is possible it just hasn't been done yet.
I tried giving this a go myself and got the draw system working but junctioning out classed my sripting abilities majorly.
I don't think this would be counted as advertising but take a look over at rmxp.org and ask Sephiroth Spawn about because I remember him saying once he might give it a go. Otherwise head over to http://www.gamebaker.com/rmxp/ and send a request into Sandgolem.
