Oh.
Fuck. It's not Firefox, it's just my computer. I tried downloading this with Chrome and it didn't work. I'm just not going to be able to download a 1.3GB file.

post=85295Hey I spent $100+ on probably the last copy of RM2k3. XD
God, $90 for the full version? That shit is pretty ridiculous.
I may download the trial eventually, though.
Man AGM was a disappointment at some stage.
No scripting, WAV FILES SRSLY THEY COULD'VE FIXED THAT and ugh
I don't even want to download this T_T
I'll learn GM8 instead, I still like the level editor and sprite editor of AGM tho or should I say IG :/

I have tried this and I have to say compared to the Rtp that the Rpg makers give you this product looks like S#!t. Pretty disapointed right now vx for 60 dollers does alot more. Sad I was looking forward to this.
can't say enterbrain thought this through, shitsux, gm/mmf2/ika/anything is better

I love how it can export to Flash (Kongregate) but with $90, you can buy Warcraft III and its expansion set...

For those saying RGSS and GameMaker (etc.) do more, I think you're missing the point. This program is clearly aimed at those people who don't want to learn to code (which, to my knowledge, most other game-making programs require you to at some level). Kinda like the earlier RPGMakers, this looks like a point-and-click program suited to those who have the creative talents to make a game but not the computational talents.
.
But what I'm worried about is if the standard of games that IG Maker can create is low. No matter how creative you are, there's no point in using IGM if the platformer-engine is stiff and horrible. RPG Maker VX is great because if your design skills are good enough, you can make SNES RPG quality games.
Enterbrain -- what's so difficult about taking the RPG Maker interface and applying it to action games? Sheesh.

game maker and mmf2 do not require coding.
Game Maker has Game Maker Language, and has a programming language. So, in some cases, GM requires coding.

just because it has coding doesn't mean it requires you to code. I thought we established this with XP/VX
Just to note, it's possible to use plugins for this. I think Magi knows a bit more than I do.
