I'm just wondering if it's ever been done in a game.

If you don't get the title, I'm just wondering if there's ever been an RPG that allows you to fight your friends in a traditional turn based or ATB battle.

I want to see a CCBBSSWASS.

But yeah, the only games that come to mind are Golden Sun and the Pokemon series.
