A somewhat subversive pet peeve:

When people say things online in an extremely "matter of fact" way, as if their word is the gospel. Like... I appreciate brevity when it comes to online interactions, but sometimes an explanation is warranted, or at least a small bit of discussion.

Often this type of "I'm never wrong" attitude is accompanied by another pet peeve: Compulsive contrarians. Let no point go un-argued about, no matter how indisputable and/or trivial.

I have a very strong feeling you're not alone in that opinion. Just a hunch.

Hypocrites and smartasses.
People who try to convince me I'm wrong - in a very obnoxious, condescending way, usually - when I know I'm 100% right.

When people take the internet too seriously.

OH YES.

People who say "LOL ITS JUST THE INTERNETZ" in order to give a pass to even the most fucktardical online behavior.
Games that have no merits of their own whatsoever and exist solely for the purpose of riding the cash cow of whatever series they come from. For example, roughly 75% of the entire FF series. *prepares to get shot from all directions*

I dunno dude, most fanboys can actually admit their game companies are money whores. I'm a huge capcom fan and sometimes I just hate them for many money related reasons (HELLO MEGAMAN XZY).
THANK YOU VERY MUCH. If they released one more Versus series game, I would have screamed.
Despite my dislike for many of the Final Fantasy games, I think that because they are so popular, they get so much extra quality attention that other games don't get. They get this because the brand is so powerful, and they want it to stay as powerful. I'd argue it leads to an improvement of quality, and not a decrease in quality. This is definitely the case with Final Fantasy XIII.

This. Also, when the same people had a bad day, and get angry when everyone doesn't take what they say seriously that day. Then it's not just the internet. Then they need a hug.

Also, it really bugs me when people are obviously ruining their life. They're not happy. They know they're not happy. They know what to do to get out of it. They don't do anything. Really frustrates me.

Apathy of politics bugs me a bit as well.

Well you're certainly not politically apathetic, I'll give you that much.
I think I don't come off here properly in my political opinions. Or perhaps writing statements to people with very different opinions require lots of (ungiven) explanation, and without it there is a misrepresentation.
People who ask for your number or email or whatever and then never bother to contact you.
They probably get cold feet. I ask for everyones number when im drunk, and i never phone them.
That's..probably a bit different though.
It's worse when you contact someone(multiple times in some cases..) and they never reply. Blanked..

It pisses me off when people are stupid for the sake of being stupid. They know the answer but they'll say something dumb to get laughs and the tag of pretty bimbo.

Boob: just go to a video gamer convention. I'm sure you'll get hundreds of unsolicited numbers and emails without pretty bimbo competition.
It annoys me when people get all offended when I say something mean. Chances are, I MEANT to say whatever it was that you took offense to, so trying to make me feel bad won't work. Ever.
No offense, man, but that's kinda...a dumb attitude. How can you expect to form meaningful relationships with anyone if you don't have a sense of responsibility or regret?
