*SIGH* EVONY

Has anybody actually played the game? What exactly is it?
I think is an MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game, for Darken), but I'm not sure.

A few months ago, I clicked on an add signed up, and then couldn't play because all of the 'valleys' on the server I signed up on were full. I don't think it's an RPG, seems like one of those tiny little online games that despite having all of four units and two buildings still claim to count as RTS games.
There is an extremely sharp decrease in appealing artwork the further you go into signing up from what I saw though.
From the looks of this screen shot someone else took recently however, it looks like they changed up the ingame artwork since the time that I attempted to sign up.

What? Where did I say I did not know what an MMO is?

Oh my god D:
They really are chasing after the pathetic nerd demographic, aren't they.
holy fuck. I've seen less racy porn sites.
I thought it was a Civilization clone, though. Now, if there was only a way for us to quickly and easily look up information on this game. Like, a network of some sort, with information at hand... if only.
EDIT:

I don't remember bitching about your abbreviations (at least yours only). Just general RM related ones with words "custom" and "system" thrown everywhere.
I don't get it.

post=88558I apologize.

WARNING! For those of you who are actually planning on trying out Evony, (and so I doubt that you have actually received this information), apparently Evony will infect your computer
Or at least, that is what this would leave me to believe:
From what I can gather, there's also trojans in programs they offer to download that are related to Evony, like a referral client for it called iEvony.
Edit: Good thing that when I signed up with them a few months back I didn't actually manage to get around to playing it. It's also a good thing that I used my only for game signups in case of spam email address when I signed up.
Or at least, that is what this would leave me to believe:
“Now I am wondering if you have any insight into how much damage the game does to your browser, and your system in general. What I thought was very flaky software appears as though it may have malicious content. In Firefox, shortcuts have been re-targeted and attempting to fill in text fields gives mixed results.â€
There is this forum post from an Evony user: “Something happened this morning. Just when i logged in my account to play Evony, my Anti-Virus detected 4 trojans horse in explorer.exe. They came right when i entered my server. I am no expert about virus so I don<t know what happened there. Any help on the forum would be great as i do not want to join that server again until some admin tells me its clean. Took me 3 hours to clean my computer.â€
And another one: “Hello, i would like to inform ye that your site is infested with Adaware. http://www.pctools.com/mrc/infection…e.Mostofate.E/ Every time i log onto evony this comes as part of it. I have tried it several times, deleting it THEN just opening up evony and presto its back on my Computer. Its the “monitors the users browsing activity.†that im not paticulary fond of !â€

I was at the 'rider game yesterday (CFL (football)) and there was a woman with a real nice set of Evonies sitting in front of me, if you catch my drift.
So I've noticed they're starting to trash the medeival girl in favor of a present day one. Hmm.
I forsee nudity as the natural outcome of these ads.
And yeah LWG, it takes up 100% of the adspace on any site the word game is mentioned.

At one point a real model was on one of the ads. They edited out one of her nipples once they realized it was sticking out, but the original ad from before they realized that there was actual nudity in the ad can still be found somewhere on the internet.
