This makes me pretty scared that rmn as a whole is doomed. The newsletter release something and the community projects is some of the best stuff. Rmn has to offer. This news coupled with the few and lackluster podcast we have been getting since the departure of Brandon Abbly. Makes me wonder if I will need to find a new home to host and play games. Please someone keep the best amateur game making community going.

You won't need to find a new home. This place is getting more lively and vibrant by the day. You should've seen it before...

Of course it will completely change your life. After you've got a baby, you really become unable to remember how you used to fill up your days before his/her arrival, even if you used to be the busiest of men.

BUT once the little one gets use to not wake up during the night for his bottle (usually after three months), and when you get used to the new rhythm in your life, then you will be able to come back as usual. Believe me.

...but I do anticipate coming back, probably. And who knows? I'm so addicted to this site right now that I post like 25 times a day and click RMN, Games, Reviews, Blogs, Forums (in roughly that order) about 25 times an hour. Maybe I can't quit?

The jist of it all is that I anticipate that I won't have the time to pour into games anymore, so I better wrap up what I have left. Plus, I doubt I can post anywhere near the same activity level. But I will probably be back.

You guys forget I do nothing administrative here. Frankly, I shouldn't even be an admin. I wouldn't worry too much about the site itself.

You might not do much administrative, but you are kind of the "Community Guy". We need you here bud, you made the snews, all the good events, announcements, etc. This place will be much quieter without you.

Also, just toss the baby in your lap while you post ;)

That's kinda how I am. I just leave a couple tabs of the site open and refresh them every 20 minutes.

This is what prevents me from getting anything constructive done. However, since I was the swing of all things Hellion anyways, I'm going to plow through that and finish it off.

I've been updating the blogs if anyone wishes to follow along.

Man it sucks to see you go. I wasn't here very long, but you always struck me as a pretty nice guy.

I hope you decide to keep writing SNEWS, or at least keep it alive in some form or another.
