I have some questions...

Question 1: How can you draw your own character, scenery, ect.?

I will ask another question once I understand the above one.

Ok, question 2: How do you put bad guys into the game and change the drawing of your main character to another drawing?
In the game editor you'll notice a Materials button. Simply find the appropriate section for the graphics you have drawn and use the Import button to bring it into your game. For most things you'll be prompted to select a transparent color, which will be invisible in your game for that particular graphic. For example if you drew a sprite against a white background, you'd select that background so it would not show up in game.

For more details, push F1 while XP is open to bring up the Help menu. Go under the category RPG Maker XP and click on Material Specifications. This will tell you how large your graphics need to be in order to fit properly and explains a few other things you'll need to know about importing them.

As for the actual drawing part, I recommend using a free program such as Gimp or Graphicsgale. Make sure to save all your graphics as either a JPEG or PNG file.
Oh, ok so you draw them, then put them in. I am used to using game maker so I was confused that I could not find a sprite button.

Answer: Thou must read thy tome of help!
I'm pretty sure RMXP has a convenient little thing called a 'help file' that contains the answers to all the questions you have asked thus far.
Yes, but it's so huge I can't find specific answers, and it gets ahead of itself, making references to things that I have to look up to understand.

It seems to me that it is made for people who already know how to use it, but encouter some problems. I am a noob, I know nothing of this program.
I googled it. Not a lot of good tutorials out there. I also consulted the help thing, wich resulted in frantic clicking of links, pressing the back button, and trying to memorize where I lef off before. Reminds me of when I tried to look up the Green Arrow in wikipedia.

Actually it's pretty damn small. It covers the most basic stuff about the program in a very superficial way. Then it's all scripting coverage. Smallest help file I've ever seen.

But anyway, every website or forum has turtorials, there's tons of them.

Here, very good ones on tube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S2Y_W7kD8LU - part 1
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQvWaRLSy80 - part 2

it has more parts, follow them all if you want. This guy tells pretty useful things.
Thank you. I guess ist seems large to me because I used the search feature.
