So there is this game coming out soon that I was on the team for called Dragoon Legends. It's a completely custom job with a brand-new game engine built inside of Multimedia Fusion, new graphics, and new music. It looks pretty cool! It's been in development for a long time and Part 1 would have been released a year ago if I hadn't taken so long to edit text and write the soundtrack. I wrote the soundtrack for the game, which took me much longer than I think it really should have. Anyway Part 1 of it is done!
Here are some really, really old screenshots from the game (I did not make the graphics or the game):
These are from sometime in early 2006, and the game looks a bit better now. Unfortunately these are the most recent screens I have.
Anyway, the music is strictly Classical and written for orchestra. I took strong influences from French Impressionism, so if you're familiar with Parisian music circa 1900 you'd know what I was going for. This is about half an hour or so of music. It's all in mp3 format, packed inside of a zip file for easy downloading. Let me know what you think!

The guy who made the game made all the graphics. Kazekuri or something.
Also, I've heard a "pre-release" of the soundtrack and it's Him's best, by far.

Yeah, I had a zip up earlier, but there were some strange glitches I hadn't caught in the mp3 files. I am working on it right now. I appreciate the interest.
Kazukeri made all the graphics. This is *his* game; I just helped with the translation from his native Polish and wrote the music. He should be putting up a promo thread here soon. He was actually kind of upset that I used old screens because he said that they weren't as good as the new stuff :(

As I've mentioned before, all of these are very nicely done. The "Force" song would have to be my favorite of the six-- and likewise I anticipate the release of the next few components of the soundtrack. Awesome job finishing this.
My stuff is due in a month. >:(

Anyway, download again and replace your old files if you'd like. My sequencer crapped out on three of the tracks, and they happen to have been my personal favorites, so I'd appreciate it!
Thanks for the feedback, Blind. I'd known you liked my stuff already from your response to the previews, though. Also, there are SEVEN tracks, not six; did you miss one? :) I'll get to work on your stuff right away. I've taken weeks off of work so the January deadline is no problem. :)
I've noticed that my favorite piece from any of my soundtracks is never the favorite of anyone else. Curiously, it's always the least favorite! Oh well. Eitas Kire and Prelude are my favorite from this collection, by the way.
