I always thought the comma is supposed go on the inside, but it just looks stylistically wrong, so I always but it on the outside. I have no idea why I think that though.
I've seen it used both ways in books. Who knows. : /
I hate when I end a sentence with quotations. It always confuses me where to put the period... inside the quotes, or outside? =[

These are the kinds of things I wonder about nearly every day. I have such a wonderful life.

Punctuation always goes inside quotations. ;) It's just "the way things are done," if you "catch my drift!"
Good to know, my friend, good to know. Next order of business: Are "grey" and "gray" both correct spellings?
