Your calculations are correct.

Also, I am starting to think that physical guys got too nerfed - or mages got too strong. My Bl. Mage is constantly doing 500000000 damage while my Thief and Bl. Belt do .752 damage.

From that and you mentioning a white mage a few posts ago, could it be that we both have the same party?

I didn't choose a fighter because the author described it as "more defensive than offensive" and I didn't take a red mage because they deal and heal less damage than other classes (or at least in the normal game).
My Traditional FF1 party was Fighter (Stu) Red Mage (Pete) White Mage (Ann) Black mage (Ugly). This way the names would spell Stupid and Ugly.
Back in ye olde days I had Morg the Fighter

The rest of the party was irrelevant
harmonic
It's like toothpicks against a tank

My very first party as a tiny kid was the same as the party on the big nintendo power FF1 issue -

Fighter - Cars
Fighter - Bors
Red Mage - Bars
Black Mage - Wizy

I didn't get what the names meant back then and I still don't now so don't ask.
Craze
why would i heal when i could equip a morningstar

Why yes, we are using the same party.

I think I'm going to try it with a three-character party. The monsters are sufficiently stronger for my tastes, so!
I named my party after Jerry, George, Elaine, and Kramer.

I don't get it.
The grammar mistake implies irony I think. Maybe he's mimicking those people who hated Seinfeld because everyone (read: some people) think it's the best show ever in an attempt to show how silly they look?

That's at least how I interpreted those two words.
or maybe he really thinks its pretty gay
That's not thinking outside the box.
