BATTLE SYSTEMS FOR RPGMK2003

What is the battle system that does not have any level gaining but instead you gain stats at random. I need the formula for that king of leveling.
I'm not sure what you're asking, but do you really want to make a system where you gain random stats?
Yeah you don't gain any levels but your stats increase at random after each battle I want to do that.
1.) Set the hero's max level at one.
2.) Open up all of your monster events. Create an event with the trigger "Turns elapsed 0." This will make the action initiate at the start of battle. In the actions, make a switch called "STATGIVE" and turn it on.
3.) Open up Common Events. Make a parallel process that requires a switch to be on. Make that switch the STATGIVE switch we just discussed.
4.) Make a variable called "RANDOMROLL" and set it to random numbers 1-6. This will randomly pick a number that will correspond to a stat (HP, MP, Str, Agi, Def, Int).
5.) Make 6 conditional branches, one for each number (i.e. if var RANDOMROLL = 1, we'll use 1 for HP). Inside the conditional branch, use the "Change character base statistics" command for the stat coresponding to the number. Raise it any amount you see fit.
6.) At the end of the common event, make sure to turn off the STATGIVE switch so it doesn't repeat.

I still do not condone this system.
Stats weren't random in Chrono Cross or Final Fantasy II. They were based on what you did or who your character was. If you're going to have stats growth you should make it add according to some rule.
Could sombody explain the process in a more simpler way please.
And could somebody post a picture of how to do it to.
It doesn't get much simpler than that. I use a different RM and even I understood it perfectly. I think you should spend a little more time getting to know your tools...
Also, I don't like the sound of this either. Stats are important in defining an actor's role in battle, and balanced stats are very important. If the stats are just given at random, it could REALLY mess up the player. There's just too much luck in there.

This system is used in iishenron's Three the Hard Way. After beating a monster group of difficulty X, characters gain stats until that monster group difficulty is under their stat maximums. Characters have different stat maximums for each area - Vance might cap at 20 ATK, but North caps at 25.
Yeah, but I doubt it's random. And there's caps too. Fire Emblem used caps to make sure one character couldn't possibly get more of a stat they're not supposed to have and each randomly adding point had different chances of increasing for each stat. But it was the frequency, a strong character has a higher chance to get more strength than a character who isn't as strong.

You did get an option in the recent Fire Emblems to make it so it's completely random. But you still have caps and it was intended to make the game harder for someone who has already played it through once.
If this system went wrong you could have a char Like in this example

Cloud level 1
Hp 9999
mp 999
atk 999
def 999
int 999
agi 999

And you could get that by doing x battles at the start of game so need to be careful with it.

If your on your first game just have a class system for balance.
