Hello, I'm new to RPG Maker and I plan to purchase RPG Maker VX in February. However, I'm wondering if it will be download only, or if it is also available on a disc. Does anyone know?

RPG Maker XP was download only. I imagine the same will be true of RMVX.

So it'll be only available for a single install? Man, that sucks. What about people that constantly reformat their HD or use multiple computers?

Yeah, but if you called the people behind the licensing, they would enable it for more. Which was super irritating, but better than nothing I suppose.

DRM is still an example of corporate douchebaggery, though.

If I actually bought VX and for some retarded reason used my serial 3 times I wouldn't troubleshoot or phone them up I would just pirate it. I mean: Where's the piracy in using a hacked version if you own the actual program?
