I was disappointed when I read the New York Times review, which praised the film's character design - even though the hero is clearly inspired by LittleBigPlanet.
In my case, Tim Burton's name being attached makes me less interested in the movie than I would be otherwise. Is there anyone else who lost interest in Tim Burton right around the same time you turned 14?

YES.
I was never interested in Tim Burton. Guy makes the same movie over and over.
(Except Big Fish and the original Batman)

In north america the most commonly favourite novel is HitchHiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
Really? I did not know so many other people enjoyed a book I would call a "cult classic".

the original Batman
The original Batman is of fucking legendary caliber.
And let's not forget- some of his short films were pretty good. I've always liked Vincent.
Doubly awesome in that Vincent Price narrates the whole thing.

agreed, Vincent Price is the man, and that video is super duper good. I'm agnostic as to whether Tim Burton is good/bad/overrated/etc, but I have to affirm how much I've always loved that video
