The forum code is amazing! However I have a suggestion (someone else may have made this).

Those of us who don't check the forum every day have a hard time tracking which threads have new posts to check. I would suggest code that would automatically move the user to the point in the thread that he last posted in. Many other forums do this. This would allow someone who has not checked the site for five days jump in where he left off.

brandon, try clicking that arrow on the far right column in the forum view. It takes you right to the last post. The datetimes for each post is also a link directly to that post.

I totally realize what you're saying now. I have never ever seen that but it's an interesting idea and shouldn't be a hard thing to do. No timeline, but I'll try and get it in.
