RMXP EVENT HELP

hi
Im using rmxp and im having trouble with loops
I think it might not be the actually the loop but the event keeps repeating itself
But instead of going back to where it is ment to go It goes right back to the start of the event
i can post the event if you guys want but yea im sorta stumped

Labels can help a lot when you want to go from one area of eventing to another within one large event. Just stick the first label where you want to loop back to, then use the "go to label' command to jump to that part of the event.

I hope that helps.

not really im trying to make a character select event ill list it for you see if it helps
Text: welcome to Game here
loop
Text:please select your character:
show choices:(names here cbf writing them)
When:(name here)
text:description
Text:are you sure
Show choices yes no
when yes
control self switch a on
Change stuff here
break loop
(and repeat about 4 times for the other characters)

Now when i select this character the Whole event repeats right from the start before the loop
I have no idea

Why do you need a loop at all?

hmm That might help me but I would only need one because im trying to make it so when you select a character The game just goes on

Ok the labels work but again the event just repeats itself So i cant move on
example:
Next character
Label: 4

when i select Yes i want it to be able to have my character as normal
So im pretty sure(being a noob) that you would put no command to make it just continue on
But it dosent it just restarts right from the very top of the script where it says Welcome to your game

Got it turns out that the command exit event processing was screwing me up

Ok seeing this is the same topic How do i set a diffrent graphic down character cause when u select the graphic it shows about 7 diffrent characters down how do i select one of the ones along

ok you know how in rmxp where you select your character's graphic
theres a down set like this

when i want to use one of the graphics there it only comes up with the first character (the guy in grey armor)
i want to use someone else but dont know how

When you make the character event, choose the pic that you want in the graphic part then in the 'movement' area, choose fixed/facing. That should do it. (If XP is like the other RMs)
