Fantastic map! Your surely are in a league of you own! You should be proud of it, I'm very jealous.
Dragon Fantasy and 2!? Already?...i'm still stuck on the first. xD

Thanks Lib, and LWG, that's no where near the best I can do either ;), I'm rather proud of how well I have gotten mapping wise in Rpgmaker, as well as overall ability with the program, it's quite amazing how you pick things up over time.
In my opinion of my own best map Ive ever done would be this one probably, I love walking around this map aye. ;D

Ephiam: I'm loving that retro vibe. Keep up the good work. Someone's gotta show the young'uns the greatness of the past.
I fully support this comment.
Tau: That is a great map you have there. Very well detailed.
A world map system I am going to try and use. Obviously, this is nowhere near finished and just messing with it. I like this method, consider my faith in mapping an actual world map is extremely low. >_>

That is actually quite good. Keep working at it and i a sure it will look a really good finished world map. :)
@Jakester: Looks good! Neat idea for a worldmap.

Edit: Changed the background, it was to dark. The bg is temporary though.

I like it, iamnot. The background is a bit odd, but it's really just the transition to it seems pretty abrupt. Probably not a real issue.
Thanks. Yea, the background is temporary, still looking for something to match more what I want. Also, I am currently editing the rubble around the door so it looks less square.
Well, 4th post here. Some might know me... others may not.
Anywho, I have a screenshot (mockup however) of a game I'm currently making.
Should be fairly obvious what it is to anyone born before 1990.

I love that screen/mock up, it's so colorful and I was gonna reply on GW to it, but decided not to. Too sum up, it looks awesome. ;D
Anything involving Scrooge is awesome.
However the window height is off, the frame is two pixels high and only the bottom pixel of the window isn't visible; some part of the bottom frame should be visible.
And the desk+chair seems too close to the wall for my liking.
Other than that, it looks great! (Plus its Scrooge McDuck!)

Thanks for the crit!
Indeed you are correct about the window, you have a keen eye sir. As for the desk and chair, everything is fitted within the limitations of rm2k3's squares. Moving them further down made them look too far apart, so I chose the closer version. The room itself will be significantly larger in the final version though, so perhaps it won't look so squashed together then.

Cool map you have there. I like it a lot. My only suggestion would be to get rid of the smoke on both sides as i feel it doesn't really go well with the rest of it. Other than that, it looks good. :)
Looks great Veri.. your names to long haha, anyways, the atmosphere comes of perfect, mapping is well done, and overall a good job, my only nit pick would be the clothes line is to long.. and straight.

Dude that's a great idea. Duck Tales would probably be a great setting for an Adventure game (but I guess every children's cartoon would be).
@Veridianne: Very nice atmosphere. Mapping looks pretty good judging from this screenshot alone.
I don't mind the smoke either as long as it animates well and doesn't stand out too much compared to the rest.

Maybe two screenshots from the same project is a bit too much on the same page but...

Does anyone else have the Ducktales theme song running through their head?
That looks awesome, Liman!
