This is another VX map of mine. I again utilized the random dungeon generator, and then modified the hell out of it. Pretty fun map to make actually. I guess it's sort of a volcano sort of whacky place.

It seems like the dungeon creator on it is actually somewhat capable this time. I like that map. The background seems to make it look odd though, like you are on top of space.

Nice dungeon Ephiam. I really dig 8-bit. Those look nicely designed.
I need some help with something. For my game I am trying to make a swamp that froze over. I am having trouble coming up with a good design for it. Here is what I have:

It looks alright to me but some people might have different views. Also, if you don't like it yourself than it's your choice to get rid of it.

Thanks for the comments guys. It is not that I am unhappy with the map itself, but rather what I want the map to represent. I am trying to go for a swamp like area that has been frozen over, but I do not think it conveys that. I am messing with it to try and get the feel that I want for it right now...

Well the swamp looks pretty cool to me but if your not happy with what you have in front of you than try out different chipsets till you may find the one that best describes what you are trying to represent.

I would say if you could edit the chipset colors to a more dull greenish blue, it would convey it better. It really isn't bad though.

I cropped out some of the map since it was just a test map anyway. The timing on the shot is badass- that's one of the special moves you can do in Sandfall's ABS.
That is an awesome screen, and it seems Sandfall is coming along nicely. Why is it that guy reminds me of Hitman so much?
Finally finished working on the books in this Library. Now off to do more quests and monsters and stuff.
