I thought I would open a thread where people could list off what they got for christmas. JI have quality over quantity this year, here is what I got:
A brand new laptop, very good performance
A new hoodie
$90
$20 gift card to HMV
And a whole lot of stocking stuffers
I also have one more present on the way from my grandparents, however they are incredibly sick right now. I love my laptop, and my christmas has rocked so far, so how is yours? (also, I am constantly making mistakes on this keyboard, my apoligies to that.)

My Christmas present has been not having to deal with schoolwork and being able to relax at home with my family, whom I haven't seen for the past 4 months. I'm content.
Hmmm from my family I received the following :
1. Some sets of pjs
2. 4 volumes of manga
3. PotC At World's End dvd
I haven't seen my friends at all this passed week,
so I have yet to give them their gifts.

My last present ended up being a cellphone! Also,I found one fault with my laptop so far, and that is that it types random J's from time to time. I think it is because the J key is VERY sensitive for some reason, so when I type, the keyboard shakes, causing th J to be considered pressed
It's good to know that the HOW WAS YOUR CHRISTMAS?? thread is actually a WHAT DID PEOPLE BUY FOR YOU?? thread.
On the topic of capitalism then I got a gift certificate for Gamestop from my girlfriend's mother and a blanket from my mom. I bought my girlfriend's mom a present but she didn't give me one and I also bought my mother a television for which she was grateful. I also did not get a Christmas bonus from work even though my boss meant to give me one.
I also had many good times with relatives and friends but THAT IS NOT WHAT CHRISTMAS IS ABOUT WHERE ARE MY VIDEO GAMES???

As far as the loot is concerned, my Christmas haul was rather small. I got the following:
1. Transformers: Masterpiece Starscream

2. Transformers the Movie Starscream G1 Repaint

My wife actually got these for me months ago but didn't let me have them. We wrapped them for the sake of appearance! You can probably guess that I really like Starscream.
My three year old daughter, on the other hand, made out with about $800 worth of various toys, $1200 if you count her new bed that I built for her early (it's an elevated bed with its own slide!).
It looked like New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.
We spent the rest of the day having an awesome Christmas dinner with ham as the main course. We watched a bunch of silly kid's old school Christmas movies. I also finally seen It's A Wonderful Life, and I really, really enjoyed the flick. We played some board games and card games and other such nonsense. It was good times.

Lol, I guess the topic name was rather irrelevent to what I posted, so here is how my actual christmas day went. It began when I woke up a 3 am, and couldnt fall back asleep. The following 4 hours were taking forever, so I decided to pick up my DS for about half an hour. It was then 7 am, and I decided it was time to get everyone up for christmas. We waited upstairs till 8:30, then went and opened presents. My grandparents ended ujp both being very sick, and so they could not make it, however, my uncle did, and he made the day quite enjoyable all on his own. We then sat around enjoying what we got for a while, then we went to see my grandparents and cheer them up. We got our presenjts from them while we were there. We finished with a HUGE turkey dinner, and now here I am typing this, I am off to bed, as I havent slept very well for the last while.
I just got a bunch of Wii things here and there, and some clothes. That's all I really wanted!
And Christmas was okay I guess. I had to spend time with some relatives that I don't really like, and one of them took my bed, but other than that it was pretty nice.

Wow Holbert. That's a lot of money for a 3 year old.
The family's far away, so it was only me and my girlfriend. We had a nice salmon dinner, went for a walk, read the Christmas story, sang a few songs and opened presents. I got a photo scrapbook filled with pics of our relationship and lots of stickers, NOFX's new live CD, and a model globe I need to make. She got a juicer, and Catcher in the Rye and On the Road in Japanese.

Ehh... I didn't really think so. Then again, monetary value != amount of stuff actually obtained. There's nothing that's over... $50? Maybe? The most expensive item would've been the camera, but it was a hand-me-down. And the cellphone cost us nothing because of a special. Oh wait. I forgot; the Finale was $108-something, but we were planning on that one for a while.
