USER TITLES.

Hello, I am here to try to bring a previous discussion that was in another thread to a more proper channel. It's about User Titles; while the feature itself is really small and not a major feature of the site, it does seem underused and underwhelming. I addressed this before, and to recap;

As you know, this is the RMNv3 policy on User Titles;

So what's new? Well in another move of restricting your personal freedoms, user titles can no longer be assigned. Sorry! We want to be able to attach our own personal flavor text for each user. No, we are not going to put immature/penis jokes in there.

Some members have user titles already. We just dish them out randomly for people. Users are just not allowed to set them themselves.

so far the only one I have noticed is yours and maybe kentona has one? dish them out more often or do it on a request basis.

Why can't we set our own? How are user titles assigned? Why are they so rare? Are you open for suggestions on how to make the feature more interactive or interesting?

This isn't a 'WHY CAN'T WE SET OUR OWN WHINE', but more of a query, and perhaps through this topic something interesting or fun can be suggested.

Still, WIP, I think the channel should still be open in case anyone comes up with an interesting suggestion that you may like. You never know. Worst case scenario is that you don't like any of the suggestions, and best case scenario you do like a suggestion and its implemented, or at least integrated into something else.

I'm not whining at all! I don't care about user titles, I just figured it was worth suggesting. This is a topic to suggest something, not whine or complain about anything. I acknowledge that it's small potatoes.
