NON-EXISTANT BATTLE ANIMATION WHEN I JUST MADE THE BATTLE ANIMATION, ON RPG2K3 WTF?

I just spent quite a long time designing some fairly good skill animations on RPG 2003. I attatched them to fake skills, set up a demo map with an enemy to fight, went into battle and used the skills. It then closed down the game and told me "Event script referenced a battle animation that does not exist". This doesn't happen when I use the pre-set battle animations, only the special ones I made. How do I make it so that I can use these animations?
Do the animations show up when you test play them in the animation screen? Did you correctly import the file or did you just put the animation file in the rpg2003 project folder?
Try increasing the number of battle animations to some very high number. Deleting the number of animations in the game might lead to this sort of problem. (I mostly work in RM2K; don't know the 2K3 error blurbs)

Yeah, they test play, and they even show up when I go to select them for an animation for a skill. The only time the problem occurs is when im in-game, or in a test battle
One of your Charcter Animations, may be set to Battle animation instead of Pose. Go to the Animation 2 page, and on each of your characters, check the Animation Type pages. Make sure they are not selecting the ANIMATION option on each pose... heh. hope you dont have a lot of characters.

I believe the problem is with animations for skills, not for battlers.
The skill might call for a battler pose that uses an animation that doesn't exist, tardis.

Ehhh, heh...... I just read this again Right now, and I think I fixed the problem. I simply went to everything that that had anything to do with the battle and reselected the animation. It worked, although I'll try to find out what I did so I could post it
I'm such an amature at this... I haven't even submitted anything, I'm still fumbling around in the dark with this, and I seem to be running into such a large amount of fail....

Ignoring the problem won't make it go away. Just "raise the max number" isn't solving anything :\ That's what I believe anyway.
