SCREENSHOT SESAME STREET (40TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION)

I agree with NB here. I have no forgiveness for having issues with limitations in RM*, because you shouldn't be using RM* for not-RM* projects. Also, 2k3lulz.
EDIT: UGH TOP OF PAGE I don't have much, but here's part of the prologue of Arian Wild:

That's not Arian's charset; it will be in this style, but I can't do any spriting yet since Karsu hasn't finalized any character designs. It's princely, though, so it works for testing!

This is all still preliminary stuff. Still, that is a good idea, Craze, we'll have to look through our icons and see if we can diversify it. I didn't code it though, so no promises.
oh my shit I completely forgot about the GameChill thing and everybody's ahead of me. 8( Damn uni interviews how dare my future interfere in game making

Hey Sanosuke, where's the backround music in the second video from? I know it from some game I played as a kid and felt really nostalgic upon hearing it again. MADELEINES
*Sorry for the double post something weird is going on with either the site or my browser.
That music isn't from Golden Sun, It's from Kingdom Hearts in Twilight Town.

Well this was made in rm2k3 so I'm sure it has limitations as it is...
Why in the world are you using an engine designed for tiled movement to make an isometric platformer game!? And that font is so illegible.
@sanosuke: I thought the game looked interesting and stylish. The town looks awesome and the sprites are a refreshing departure from rm2k3 standard.
The battle in the 2nd video seemed a little drawn out (the skills were cool ideas, especially the time slowing one, but they take forever) and the enemies never seemed very threatening.
The others do have a point about the platform. The controls look jerky and standard attacks look difficult to land. Maybe consider keeping that interesting graphical style, but using a turn-based battle system instead?
EDIT: @Solitayre: That talent menu looks awesome.

Well I appreciate the comments and feedback and encouragement from those of you who gave it to me, pretty much everyone but you know who.
Anyways haters will be haters you can't please em all but I am going to keep going and take what I can from those of you that helped. Thanks again guys =)
Oh btw lol yeah the music in the second set of videos is Kingdom hearts....but the second song in my Love Bears trailer is really from Golden Sun. Hope that clears things up.
@Wolf: its not iso it is a side scrolling game. And I fixed the font =)
@Solitayre: I'm really digging those screens. They looks clean and very effective eye candy too.

It's so hard to do any action game in RPG Maker 2k3, much more so than every other engine I can think of that it begs the question, why? Even in RPG Maker XP I wrote a short ZeroWing clone out of boredom in RGSS.

Soli are you using the mouse as a controller for that game? Also about that talent window you should move it to the left more so it doesn't obscure the character.
Yes Darken, you can play the game with the mouse, however you can also play it using only the keyboard if you want.
I really hope that's a test map you made to show off the text box you've shown us before, because that looks nothing like Rei's interesting mapping.
Also, slums (that will eventually have NPCs, but that's Karsu's job):

Again, the MC's charset is temporary. PCs and important characters will all use edited Mac charsets.
